From CBC news, to Structures, to the entertainment show E2, to corporate work and a tribute video that was produced, directed, shot and edited for a friend; here you will find a portfolio of some of the shows I've edited, my full resume and a bit about myself.
Originally starting with a love of storytelling, I chose editing as a way to tell stories every day. I work best in a collaborate environment where the excitement of creating something new, or adapting something already tried can allow everyone's creative juices to flow. Then I can edit independently and focus on delivering the best possible product within deadline.
These are exciting times for media development with a smorgasboard of opinions on where it will all end up. I am able to both work within limits of time and budgets, as well as with experimental ideas and infinite budgets (haha although I haven't had that luck yet). It's the storytelling and knowledge of production that makes a project work.. In this way I believe anything is possible!
Currently I am doing corporate freelance work and am interested in pursuing full-time or long term contracts for tv series in lifestyle and documentary. I'm also avidly interested (no pun intended) in branching into new territory such as assisting on high-end shows and editing for animation. No job is too big or small when it's about the story!
Thank you for visiting. I'd be happy to further discuss offering my assistance on any tv series, film projects or corporate videos you may have.
